RETURNS POLICY
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please use our ‘Contact Us’ facility or email us at support@bookzillajm.com and we will provide you with further instructions on how to return items and the amount you will be refunded. Refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Please note a restocking fee will be charged.
Please note that book returns must be made within Fifteen (15) days of delivery. We will accept returns for all other items up to thirty (30) days from delivery. Shipping fees are not refunded for preference return, however if any items are deemed defective upon receipt we will refund the full value of your items once the items have been received.
If your return is shipped after the time frame indicated above or without a sales receipt (online or otherwise), we regret that we cannot issue a refund or return the item(s) to you.
Bookzilla will be happy to refund your purchase once within stipulated timeframes above of delivery. Unwanted goods must be returned unopened in original packaging and in fully resaleable condition with any accompanying tags completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in its original packaging, in a saleable condition or are damaged.
If you shipped the item(s) back to Bookzilla at your own expense and the return is the result of an error on Bookzilla’s part or you received defective products, you will be refunded your shipping cost when we process the return.
Is there a restocking Fee?
Any unopened item that is returned within 15 days (for books) and 30 days(all other items) of delivery, where the return is through no fault of Bookzilla, will be refunded at 90% of the item’s cost.
How can I return a product?
You can return by post to our mailbox at May Pen P.O, via courier (conditions apply) or to a sales representative in person at a drop off location.
Returning by Post:
We currently do not accept international orders, hence all our returns will be coming in and processed locally, customers will be required to cover the cost of the postage unless the product is faulty or damaged.
Please follow the instructions below carefully when returning by post:
1. Use our ‘Contact Us’ facility on the website or email us at support@bookzillajm.com to get instructions on making a return. Also to inform us briefly as to your reasons for the return.
2. Repackage the goods into their original packaging. Please note that we do not accept returns for personal items such as earphones, Tablets, Cell phones and wearable electronics.
3. Inside your package include with it your receipt (online or otherwise)with clear labelling indicating the purchaser, order number and return address.
4. Take the package to your local Post Office and obtain a proof of postage. Postage must be paid by the sender.
What products are excluded from our returns policy?
We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on the following items unless they are faulty:
· Earphones/earbuds
· cell phones and tablets
- Any wearable electronics, such as watches, fitbits etc.
THIS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS RELATING TO FAULTY OR MISREPRESENTED GOODS.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed?
If returns are sent in by mail/courier, once we have received your return at our warehouse we will process your return within 1-3 business days. Your refund will be credited to the original payment method used and issued within five (5) working days of receipt of the items. You will also be given timely updates via email regarding the status of your refund, from being processed, approval and finally Refund completion.
If you have not received your refund and it has beenafter 10 business days since receiving your ‘Refund Completed‘ update email, please contact our Customer Care team at support@bookzillajm.com or call the numbers listed under our contact information.
Refunds will be made immediately if items are returned in person to a Bookzilla’s sales representative at a designated drop off point.*
Can I get a replacement or exchange for an item?
-Replacement.
If you received a faulty item and need to replace it with the same item, please use our ‘Contact Us’ facility on the website or email us at support@bookzillajm.com for instructions on how to do so. Please note your first shipping charges will be refunded.*
-Exchanges
Currently we do not process exchanges online, so you may use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the website or email us at support@bookzillajm.com and we will gladly process a return which will allow you to make a new purchase.*
-Defective Items
If your item has missing pages/pieces or print errors, please use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the website or email us at support@bookzillajm.com for us to advise you of the steps to take in either processing a refund or replacement.*
If an item is not working properly, please check the product manual and if you need additional assistance, please contact the product manufacturer directly.
How do I cancel an order?
Customers may cancel their order(s) at any time from the time they place an order until the point when your order is marked “as shipped” which would be sent via an update email to the buyer. Once an order has been shipped, a customer can no longer amend or cancel the order. The customer may however opt to return their item/s at this point.
To cancel your order that has not shipped you may login to your account, select your order/s that you no longer require and click cancel beside the item, otherwise please use our ‘Contact Us’ facility or email Customer Care at support@bookzillajm.com .
