This book will help the child to identify each picture before colouring. Talk about the real object; the size, shape, colour and where it can be found. This book is in keeping with curriculum for Early Childhood Education.

Before the child is exposed to this book he or she should be allowed to mark freely on blank sheets of paper with the use of a non-toxic crayon, so as to develop fine motor skills and visual perception. When the child shows an interest in filling in shapes, then it is time to introduce this book which will help to develop visual motor coordination. The drawings are simple bold outlines of objects the child will easily identify. Allow the child to mark freely inside the shapes.
