Leap into History-A Level One Workbook

The Leap into History: A Level One Workbook was created out of a need to provide students of History with exercises that will not only entertaining them, but also challenge them while they are developing the higher order skills such as analysis, critical thinking and interpretation. It is designed to be used alongside the prescribed text and guidance of the classroom teacher.

The workbook provides exercises geared towards widening the students’ knowledge of their ancestors and the history of our homeland Jamaica; while at the same time developing in them a greater appreciation for the discipline of Histor, old time traditions and way of life. It also aims to inculcate in the students a rich school spirit which will, it is hoped, positively impact there work attitude and behaviour, making them better students.
