Leap into History-A Level One Textbook

Description

The Leap into History: A Level One Textbook was created out of a need to provide students with a one stop History resource material relating to the National Standards Curriculum(NSC). This text is designed to grab the attention and maintain the interests of students while entertaining them. In addition it aims to challenge them while they are developing the higher order skills such as analysis, critical thinking and interpretation.  It can be used alongside the Leap into History: A Level One Workbook to further enhance the teaching experience.

This textbook provides resource material and exercises geared towards widening the students’ knowledge of their ancestors and the history of our homeland Jamaica; while at the same time developing in them a greater appreciation for the discipline of History , old time traditions and way of life.
